Omar El Kouhene

Omar El Kouhene has a diverse and extensive work experience. Omar co-founded and served as the COO of Freterium, a company they joined in December 2018. Prior to that, they worked at eko chartering as a Logistics Specialist from June 2014 to December 2018. In this role, they had expertise in freight and commodities brokerage, with a focus on the Nigeria market and logistics. Omar also had a good knowledge of the North/West Africa trade and Black Sea + China/Africa Lines.

Before joining eko chartering, Omar worked at OCP where they held two roles. Omar was a Chartering Manager from October 2012 to June 2014 and a Freight Marketer from February 2012 to October 2012. Omar also gained experience as a Consultant at McKinsey & Company from April 2011 to September 2011 and as a Trader Assistant at SGCIB from May 2009 to September 2009.

Omar's earlier work experience includes serving as a Project Manager Assistant at Total Petrochemicals in June 2008 to August 2008. Overall, their work experience showcases their expertise in logistics, brokerage, chartering, and consulting.

Omar El Kouhene completed their Prepa MP* INFO degree at Lycée Sainte-Geneviève from 2006 to 2007. Following this, they pursued their Master's degree in Engineering with a specialization in Telecom and Financial Engineering at CentraleSupélec from 2007 to 2010.
