Doug Thorpe

Doug Thorpe has extensive experience in process technology, engineering, and injection molding. Doug currently holds the position of Sr. Director of Process Technology & Engineering at Freudenberg Medical. Prior to this, they worked at Nypro, A Jabil Company for over 30 years in various roles including Director of Process Training, Director of the Advanced Technology Center and Process Training, Senior Project Engineer, Molding Manager for Nymedex, and Molding Manager for Swisstech. Doug'sresponsibilities included training, testing new molds and systems, process development and documentation, as well as managing injection molding divisions and starting up sophisticated programs with various clients such as Eli Lilly, HP, Gillette, and Merck.

Doug Thorpe's education history includes earning a Certified Public Trainer degree from RJG in 2003. During their time at RJG, they received training in Master Molder 1 and 2, DOE for Injection Molding, Part Design, Mold Design, and Strategies. Additionally, Doug attended Nypro University and Southeastern Massachusetts University, although no specific degrees are mentioned for those institutions.
