Michelle Berteig

Michelle Berteig has a strong background in quality engineering and compliance. Michelle began their career as a Research Chemist at Pharmacia, where they contributed to the development of biocompatible polymers and was listed as a co-inventor on a patent. Michelle then took on roles at CR Bard as a QA/QC Supervisor, where they managed laboratory operations and implemented quality system improvements. At Abbott Laboratories, Michelle served as a Quality Engineer, Senior Quality Engineer, and Incoming Quality Assurance Supervisor. Michelle supervised final product release and calibration functions, conducted audits, and managed laboratory technicians and inspectors. Michelle also worked at Watson Pharmaceuticals as a Quality Engineering Manager, overseeing quality engineering, QA product release, and incoming QA sampling/inspection functions. Michelle later became a Principal Quality Engineer, analyzing quality issues and providing support to upper management. In their most recent role at Freudenberg Medical, they served as a Senior Quality System Compliance Engineer, assisting the organization with the analysis, development, and implementation of processes and procedures to support an effective Quality System.

Michelle Berteig holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering from Caltech. Michelle also pursued an education in Quality Assurance at California State University-Dominguez Hills, although the specific degree obtained is not mentioned.
