Silvia Schumacher-Michalik has extensive experience in marketing and communications. Silvia started their career as a Market Research Analyst at IPGMEDIA in 1991 before moving on to InterQuest as Head of Field Researches in 1993. In 1995, they joined MVV Energie AG as the Strategic Head of Market Research and Planning until 2002. From 2002 to 2004, they worked at Power Plus Communications as Head of Marketing Communications. Silvia then returned to MVV Energie AG as Head of Marketing Communications from 2005 to 2010. In 1998, they also served as the Head of the marketing committee of the German Federal association of electricity and water at BDEW. Their most recent roles include being the Head of Marketing Communications at Freudenberg Sealing Technologies from 2013 to present, and currently, they hold the position of Director Corporate Marketing Communications at Freudenberg Group since 2017.
Silvia Schumacher-Michalik pursued their education from 1986 to 1990 at Universität Trier. During this period, they earned a Master's degree in Sociology and Political Science within the field of study of Economics.
