Garrett Alfred is an experienced professional in the fields of chemical engineering and science, currently serving as Technical Sales Manager at Freund-Vector since July 2018, previously holding positions as Senior Process Development Scientist and Process Development Scientist. Prior to this, Garrett worked as a Quality Control Technician at Red Star Yeast Company LLC from July 2017 to July 2018 and gained research experience as a Student Research Assistant at the University of Iowa ITS-OTLT, where programming with SAS was utilized to create graphical models for undergraduate science courses. Earlier roles include Laboratory Assistant and Organic Chemistry Tutor at South Dakota State University from September 2013 to May 2015, and a CNA at United Living Community from March 2014 to March 2015. Garrett holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Iowa and a degree in Biology from South Dakota State University.
