Marcel W.

Marcel W. has been in the corporate world since 1998, when they began working as a buy side analyst at Robeco. In 2000, they moved to Petercam as an Equity analyst Healthcare. In 2002, they took on the role of Analyst at Oyens & Van Eeghen N.V. In 2004, they became the Managing Partner at Van Leeuwenhoeck Research BV, an independent research firm focused on the global Life Sciences sector. In 2006, the firm was acquired by SNS Securities, where Marcel W. took on the role of Senior Equity analyst Biotechnology. In 2009, they founded and became the Managing Partner of Van Leeuwenhoeck Research (US) Inc. Most recently, in 2021, Marcel W. became the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Freya Pharma Solutions.

Marcel W. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business economics from HEAO Windesheim between 1990 and 1994. Marcel then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Financial Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam from 1994 to 1998.
