Daniel Cotton

Daniel Cotton has a diverse work experience starting from 2013. Daniel began their career as a Sales Assistant at New Look in December 2013. In 2014, they worked as a Door to Door Canvasser at Zenith Home, followed by a role as a Bartender at 1865. Daniel then worked as a Sandwich Artist/Supervisor at Subway, where they were responsible for sandwich preparation and vegetable preparation.

Daniel joined IBM in 2015 and held multiple roles within the company. As a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, their main focus was on building cloud migration projects. Daniel worked on the design, build, and implementation of cloud environments, configuring hardware and products within the projects. Additionally, they worked as an IT Specialist in The Client Centre at Hursley, primarily focused on events deployment and the creation and maintenance of cloud-based VMs.

In 2021, Daniel moved to Kyndryl, where they worked as a Cloud Consultant until 2022. Currently, they are employed at Friday Finance as a Cloud Architect since September 2022.

Daniel Cotton attended Wildern Secondary School from 2007 to 2012. During this time, they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. From 2012 to 2014, they enrolled at Peter Symonds College, where they focused on Media Studies and Film Studies.

In addition to their formal education, Daniel Cotton has obtained several certifications through IBM. These include Cloud Core and IBM Cloud Essentials, both obtained in February 2021. Daniel also achieved the IBM Agile Explorer certification in October 2020, and the IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service certification twice in June 2020.
