Theo Ellis

Theo Ellis, CFA, is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the finance and technology sectors. Currently, Theo serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Friday Harbor, the first AI-native mortgage originator assistant, and also holds the position of Entrepreneur in Residence at the Allen Institute for AI, where Friday Harbor was incubated. Previously, Theo was Vice President of Growth at Altisource, leading product launches in the mortgage industry, and held senior roles at Pagaya, where significant contributions were made to the company’s growth and asset class expansion. Theo co-founded Riveted Labs and served as CEO, focusing on reducing smartphone distraction. Earlier career experiences include positions at PIMCO, SilverLakes Park, and McKinsey & Company. Education includes an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an A.B. in Economics from Princeton University.
