Mamata Kalbande has worked in various roles throughout their career. Mamata started in 2003 as a Software Engineer at Honeywell Technology Solutions Lab, where they worked on TOLD software for small aircraft engines. In 2006, they became a Web Analyst at Hewlett-Packard, working on multiple projects including Plant Extension in Genesis. Mamata then moved to NACE International as a C# Developer in 2008, handling scoring and printing processes. In 2009, they joined Oil States International as a C# Developer, developing applications for work order management. Mamata later worked as a Software Analyst at Wood Group, migrating applications to .Net and Sharepoint. In 2010, they joined Siemens as a Senior Developer, working on Management of Change processes in the Energy sector. Mamata then worked at Shell Oil Company as an Application Developer, specifically working on the Hydrocarbon Resource Evaluation System. Finally, in 2014, they became a Sr. Programmer Analyst at Friedkin Companies, Inc.

Mamata Kalbande holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, which they obtained between 2005 and 2006. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Technology from Nagpur University, from 1998 to 2002. Mamata also obtained a certification as a ServiceNow Certified System Administrator from ServiceNow in March 2020.
