Michael Usrey has a strong background in supply chain planning and operations. Michael has held various leadership positions in renowned companies such as Friedrich Air Conditioning, Nutrabolt, Acelity, Johns Manville, and GE Plastics. In their most recent role as Director of Supply Chain at Friedrich Air Conditioning, they were responsible for planning the supply chain for a $200M air conditioning business. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Planning at Nutrabolt, where they guided supply chain planning for a $300M sports nutrition and consumer goods business. At Acelity, they worked their way up to become the Director of Sales and Operations Planning for the $1.4B KCI division, overseeing global supply chain planning. Michael also held roles in demand and distribution planning, supply chain planning management, and served as an operations process consultant. Earlier in their career, they were a Master Black Belt and Process Engineer at Johns Manville, driving Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives. At GE Plastics, they participated in a two-year program and led projects to improve processes and environmental, health, and safety. Overall, Michael has a track record of successfully managing supply chain operations and driving process improvements.
Michael Usrey attended the University of Louisville from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering. In 2019, they also obtained additional certifications in "Organizing an Outline" and "Solving Business Problems" from LinkedIn.
