Agata Misiaszek

Agata Misiaszek is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research since May 2023, and has been a member of the Scientific Content Team at the Polonium Foundation since June 2021. Prior to these roles, Agata Misiaszek served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at EMBL from September 2018 to February 2023, and also completed a PhD in Molecular Biology at the institution in September 2022. Agata Misiaszek has a diverse background in conference organization and community engagement, evidenced by roles such as SPP Meetups Manager and Project Leader for the Science: Polish Perspectives conference between 2015 and 2018. Earlier experiences include serving as a Resident Assistant at The University of Edinburgh, a Project Student at the Karolinska Institutet, and an AuPair with AuPairCare. Agata Misiaszek obtained a BSc (Hons) in Molecular Biology from The University of Edinburgh and participated in an Erasmus exchange at Uppsala University.
