Rebecca Metellus

Rebecca Metellus is an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant at Friedwald Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing since December 2021, providing essential patient care and monitoring vital signs. Rebecca co-founded and served as Vice President of STEP UP DE, a state-wide organization at the University of Delaware that empowers underrepresented youth through mentorship and educational initiatives. Additional roles at the University included peer mentor, general chemistry tutor, workshop leader, teaching assistant for CHEM106, and research assistant in cognitive neuropsychology and attachment labs. Prior experience includes serving as a Patient Care Assistant at Community Home Health Care, assisting various patients, and a role as a cashier at The Wendy's Company. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Medical Sciences from the University of Delaware and graduated with a high school diploma from Paramus Catholic High School in 2019.
