Suneel Sharma

Suneel Sharma has an extensive work experience spanning over 25 years. Suneel started their career in 1995 as a System Analyst at JSW Steel Ltd. After five years, in 2000, they joined ICFAI Business School & other Institutes as a Professor - IT. In 2009, they moved to GD Goenka World Institute (Lancaster University) as a Professor - IT & Entrepreneurship. In 2014, they joined S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research as a Professor - Information Management. In 2016, they became the Head- Professional Technology Programs and Professor-in-charge Big Data & Visual Analytics at S P Jain School of Global Management. In 2021, they joined Stellar Eastern Franchise & Retail Advisory as the Managing Director India. Suneel is also currently working at Friendbase AB as the Managing Partner India. Friendbase AB is an award-winning social platform company founded in 2013 based in Gothenburg Sweden, Istanbul Turkey, and now in Bengaluru India.

Suneel Sharma's education history includes a M.Sc. from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani in the field of Technology from 1991 to 1995, a 12th Standard from Birla Public School from 1982 to 1991, and a 3rd Standard from Shishu Vihar from 1978 to 1982. Suneel also has two Master's degrees from Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and Stanford University in Entrepreneurship from 2007 to 2009. Additionally, Suneel Sharma has obtained several certifications from Google and Lancaster University, as well as a certificate in E-learning and Digital Cultures from The University of Edinburgh.
