Whitney Strong has held a variety of roles since 2011. In 2012, they were an Intern at The New Yorker, where they worked in the Archives Department and learned about archiving and organizing techniques. Whitney also worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Camden County College, teaching writing and essay composition. That same year, they were a Visiting Writers Series Coordinator at Rutgers University, where they managed workshop and reading schedules, promoted events through traditional and social media, and called for and chose submissions to be workshopped. In 2014, they were an Adjunct Professor at Salt Lake Community College. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at Friendemic, first as a Content Management Specialist - Team Lead, then as a Senior Community Manager and a Community Manager. In their most recent role, they initiated and managed the social media strategy for up to 9 clients simultaneously, which included research, content creation, and scheduling across five social media platforms. Whitney also dreamed up and executed promotions and giveaways, maintained contracted budgets, and strategized for both post-boosting and Facebook advertising. Since 2017, they have been the CEO of Whitney Strong, where they help people stand out in a world of content.

Whitney Strong attended Rutgers University - Camden from 2011 to 2013, where they earned a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in Creative Writing. Whitney then attended Westminster College from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language and Literature, General.
