Gary Vandeventer

Gary VanDeventer has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Gary began their career at Heritage Bank in 1994, where they served as the Banking Center President and a member of the Board of Directors until 2000. VanDeventer then joined Prosperity Bank as a Senior Vice President until 2005. From 2005 to 2015, they held the role of President/CEO at Security State Bank / Security State Bancshares, Inc. In 2015, they joined Post Oak Bank, N.A. as an Executive Vice President and Advisory Director until 2017. Gary then moved to Dilley State Bank, where they served as an Executive Vice President from 2017 to 2021. Currently, Gary VanDeventer is retired from their position as Chief Executive Officer.

Gary VanDeventer attended Sam Houston State University from 1983 to 1985, where they studied General Business Administration. Gary did not obtain a degree during this time.
