Vanessa Sandoval is an experienced professional in college and career readiness, currently serving as the College and Career Readiness Supervisor for the TRIO Talent Search Program at Friendly House since November 2019. Prior experience includes roles as a College and Career Readiness Advisor & Team Lead and as a Parent Education Trainer at Friendly House, Inc., where Vanessa facilitated workshops focused on enhancing parenting skills and preventing drug and alcohol abuse. Additional experience includes positions as an Office Assistant/Peer Advisor with the Hispanic Mother-Daughter Program and an intern at Phoenix Day Child and Family Learning Center. Vanessa holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Arizona State University, earned in 2015.

Since 1920, Friendly House has served the citizens of Arizona and those seeking to become a citizen, by providing the tools, training and support needed to attain sustaining, self-sufficiency. Our comprehensive programs include: workforce development, adult education, youth education, family and immigration legal services and mentoring. We also operate an early childhood education center and a charter school serving disadvantaged children in central - south Phoenix from K-8th grade.
