Bridget Moix

Bridget Moix is an experienced leader in the field of peacebuilding and public policy, currently serving as General Secretary at the Friends Committee on National Legislation since January 2022, where Quaker values inform public policy advocacy. Previously, Bridget Moix held positions as an Adjunct Professor at the American University School of International Service and as US Executive Director at Peace Direct, overseeing advocacy for locally-led peace initiatives. Additional roles include serving as a Visiting Professor at Haverford College, Atrocity Prevention Fellow at USAID, and Senior Legislative Secretary at the Friends Committee on National Legislation. Bridget Moix's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from George Mason University, a Master's in International Affairs from Columbia University, and a Bachelor's in Sociology and English from Ohio Wesleyan University.
