Susan Nahvi

Susan Nahvi is a skilled advocacy professional with a background in humanitarian issues and national security. Currently serving as a Major Gifts Officer at the Friends Committee on National Legislation since August 2017, Susan travels extensively across the U.S. and previously held the role of Program Assistant, focusing on lobbying Congress concerning human rights and civil liberties. Prior experience includes working as a National Security Assistant at Human Rights First, where Susan contributed to advocacy efforts on torture and war authority, as well as internships with Plan International USA, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and Pennsylvania State University. Susan holds a B.A. in International Relations and French and Francophone Studies from Penn State University.
