Matthew Sudman

Matthew Sudman has developed a strong background in non-profit development and grant management through various roles. As Assistant Director of Development and Development Writer & Grants Manager at Friends of the Chicago River since December 2017, Matthew focuses on fundraising and grant applications. Previously, at Northwestern Settlement from April 2012 to December 2017, Matthew served as Grants Manager, supporting a Settlement House that aids 40,000 Chicagoans annually through various services. Early experience includes an internship at the Evanston Art Center, where Matthew gained insights into arts administration, and customer service roles at Beck's Book Store. Matthew holds a BA in English from Northwestern University, earned in 2007.
