Elena Barba

Elena Barba is an experienced grant manager currently working with Friends of the Earth Europe since January 2021. With a strong background in managing EU-funded projects, Elena has previously held positions such as EU and Public Project Manager at EURACTIV, where responsibilities included technical reporting and financial monitoring, and overseeing consortium activities. Earlier roles encompass web editing at Bruxelles 2, consultancy at Axess Developpement focused on European funds management, and multiple project management positions within Local Action Groups for the implementation of the LEADER program. Elena holds a Master’s degree in Law of European policies from Aix-Marseille University and additional qualifications in International and European Law from Universidad de Salamanca and a Bachelor's in Law from Aix-Marseille University.
