Director Of Community And Synagogue Engagement at Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF)

Yehuda Joel Friedman has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Most recently, they worked at Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF) as the Director of Community and Synagogue Engagement. In this role, they oversaw a national Synagogue engagement initiative and managed educational content for all FIDF Synagogue-based programming.

Prior to that, Yehuda worked at the Orthodox Union, firstly as an Associate Director in the Department of Synagogue and Community Engagement, where they developed consulting solutions for Synagogues and managed a network of Synagogue Executive Directors. Later, they served as a Project Coordinator in the same department, leading the restructuring effort of the OU Membership dues system and coordinating national conferences.

Yehuda also worked at World Mizrachi as the Campaign Manager for the Orthodox Israel Coalition, where they successfully managed relationships with partner organizations and created a national campaign plan.

Before their involvement in the Jewish community, Yehuda had experience in the financial industry. Yehuda Joel worked as an Associate at AREL Asset Management and as a Trust Associate at the Bank of New York Mellon, where they purchased/sold securities, reconciled daily account cash flow, and served as a liaison to clients and investors.

Yehuda Joel Friedman attended Touro University from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Management.
