Youth Programs Manager at Friends of the Mississippi River

Sovatha Oum is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in youth programs, outdoor education, and coaching. Currently serving as the Youth Programs Manager at Friends of the Mississippi River and the former Outdoor Education Manager at Ramsey County Parks and Recreation Tamarack Nature Center, Sovatha also holds the role of Director of Outdoor Education and Adventure at Camp St. Croix through YMCA of the North. Additional positions include Program Director at Voyageur Outward Bound School TCC, Dreamline Program Manager at The Sanneh Foundation, and Head Coach for varsity soccer and track at Twin Cities Academy. With a commitment to developing youth, Sovatha has been involved with North East United Soccer Club and St. Paul Eastside YMCA, along with founding The Experiential Based Leadership Learning, LLC. Educationally, Sovatha earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
