Brent Hunsinger is an experienced environmental professional currently serving as the Advocacy and Coastal Programs Director at Friends Of The Rappahannock since January 2020, where Brent also held the roles of Tidal Programs Manager and River Steward for Spotsylvania, King George, and Caroline Counties. Prior to this, Brent owned Brent's Native Plantings, focusing on native plant landscaping, rain gardens, and invasive plant removal from August 2012 to January 2020. Additional experience includes managing the taproom at Red Dragon Brewery from August 2016 to August 2018 and working as a Student Projects Coordinator/Environmental Educator at Friends Of The Rappahannock from April 2016 to July 2018. Brent holds a Bachelor's Degree in Outdoor Education from Johnson State College and studied at Antioch University New England from 2009 to 2011.
