Friends of Youth
Benjamin Quinn possesses a diverse background in social services and community support, currently serving as Support Staff at Friends of Youth since March 2015. Ben's experience includes volunteering and interning at Oasis Youth Center since March 2014, along with a previous internship there in 2014. An internship in the Health and Human Services Department with the City of Renton occurred in the summer of 2013. Ben also contributed as a Photography Editor and Photographer for the Mooring Mast at Pacific Lutheran University, where a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Sociology was earned, completing the degree in 2014. Additional work experience includes roles as a Sales Associate at Big Lots, an intern with the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, and a Fuel Station Attendant at Safeway during high school years.

For over 70 years, Friends of Youth has been driven by a belief that all youth should have every opportunity to succeed, and partners with youth and families to provide the relationships, resources, and skills they need to attain personal growth and success. With 24 program sites serving 18 cities in the Puget Sound Region, Friends of Youth provides safe places and emotional support for youth facing circumstances including homelessness, foster care, and behavioral health challenges.
