Whitney Wiegand Flores has extensive experience in the field of education. Whitney started their career in 2008 as an 8th Grade English Teacher with Teach For America, where they excelled in planning and teaching lessons, implementing classroom management systems, and achieving significant reading growth for their students. Whitney also participated in professional development sessions and actively collaborated with parents.

Throughout their career, Whitney has held various roles, including being an Education Policy Fellow at The Urban Leaders Fellowship, an English Coordinator at Churchill School & College, an ELL Coordinator and Teacher at ReNEW Schools Charter Management Organization, a 10th Grade World History Teacher at Nobel Street Charter Schools, UIC College Prep, and a Literacy Specialist at ReNEW Schools Charter Management Organization.

Most recently, they worked as a Senior Academic Designer at Imagine Learning, where they contributed their expertise to develop academic programs. Currently, Whitney is serving as the Director of Learning and Development at Friends of Youth.

Whitney Wiegand Flores completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Anthropology and Art History at Tufts University from 2004 to 2008. Later, they pursued a Master of Education (MEd) degree specializing in Education Policy and Management at the Harvard Graduate School of Education from 2013 to 2014.
