Rene Mendoza

Rene Mendoza is an experienced job developer with a focus on providing reintegration services to ex-offenders and veterans. Since July 2016, Rene has been with Friends Outside, facilitating employment and skill development for parolees and probationers. Prior roles include site monitoring for the Summer Youth Employment Program with Watts Labor Community Action Committee and case management at PVJOBS, where Rene created Individual Career Development Plans for youth offenders. Additionally, experiences with Volunteers of America and the Los Angeles Urban League involved job development, monitoring transitional housing for homeless veterans, and offering comprehensive career services.
