Bhagwan Khalsa

Bhagwan Khalsa is an accomplished musician and educator with extensive experience in jazz performance and instruction. Currently serving as a Piano Instructor at the Friends School of Baltimore since September 2023, Bhagwan has also held the position of Band Director at The Jazz Workshop since March 2012, where the focus is on teaching jazz ensemble performance to adults. Bhagwan is a longstanding member of the Eric Byrd Trio as a bassist since March 2001 and has operated as a self-employed jazz bassist since February 1992. Additionally, Bhagwan owned B&B Music Lessons from March 2005 to July 2018, managing over 500 teachers and thousands of students. Bhagwan's educational background includes an Associate's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Los Angeles Valley College and various other degrees and training in music and general studies from several institutions.
