Travis Henschen

Travis Henschen is an experienced educator and administrator currently serving as the Assistant Principal of the Upper School at Friends School of Baltimore since August 2017, after previously holding roles as a History Teacher and Grade Dean at the same institution. Additionally, Travis is the Co-Founder and Board President of The DaVinci Collaborative, a position held since September 2015. Past professional experiences include teaching social studies at the Institute of Notre Dame, directing a center at Higher Achievement, and serving as Dean of Summer School and a Social Studies Teacher at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School-Baltimore. Travis's educational background includes a Master of Science in Education focused on School Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a focus on the Middle East from the University of Richmond. Furthermore, Travis participated in Arabic language and culture study abroad programs at both the University of Jordan and through the CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange.
