Miriam Rock

Miriam Rock possesses extensive experience in education and leadership, currently serving as Board Chair, Board Member, and Board Secretary at The Miquon School since July 2018. In addition, Miriam has been the Upper School Quakerism Coordinator and Upper School English Teacher at Friends Select School since August 2018. Previously, Miriam taught Upper School English at Sandy Spring Friends School from September 2015 to August 2018 and gained experience as a Student Teacher at Girard Academic Music Program in 2014-2015 and as a Summer SAT Prep Course Intern at Mighty Writers in mid-2014. Starting as a Lead Counselor at The Miquon Day Camp from June 2010 to August 2012, Miriam's educational background includes a Master's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Yale University.
