Teddie Ray has extensive experience in nonprofit leadership and community service, currently serving as a Volunteer Fundraiser at Discovery Cube Orange County and holding multiple board positions, including Vice Chair for the El Sol Foundation and First Vice Chair and Secretary for the Crystal Cove Conservancy. Teddie Ray has contributed to various organizations, including Friendship Shelter as a member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Governance Committee, and Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County as a board member. Teddie Ray's volunteer efforts include fundraising for Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties. Previous roles include serving on the Little Hoover Commission and the OC Fair & Event Center boards, along with a background in commercial real estate. Education was completed at the University of Southern California, Chapman University, and Cal State University San Diego from 1973 to 1979.

Our mission is to help homeless adults achieve self-sufficiency and become more productive members of our community. Our vision is to end homelessness in our community, one person at a time. We provide a full complement of services to the most vulnerable homeless people in our community, and are focused on finding the most appropriate permanent housing solution for each individual. Our programs follow the framework of three evidence-based practices: housing first, harm reduction, and recovery model. Since our inception 30 years ago, we have worked with more than 10,000 people to end their homelessness and are proud that each night more than 160 homeless and formerly homeless people sleep safe, warm, and cared for in one of our programs.
