Abdelrahman Elgamal

Abdelrahman Elgamal has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Abdelrahman is the Founder and CEO of FriendyCar since 2016. Prior to that, they served as the Business Development Director at MubasherTrade from 2015 to 2016, where they were responsible for designing marketing programs, developing business cases, and launching virtual trading contests.

From 2013 to 2015, Elgamal worked as the MENA Regional Director - Sales & Business Development at QANAWAT - FZ, L.L.C.

Before that, they were the Marketing & Business Development Director at inmobly from 2011 to 2013, where they formulated company strategy and developed financial models.

Elgamal also has experience as a Former Co-Founder, Board member, and BD Director at Varkon Group from 2006 to 2011, where they pursued consultancy opportunities and led the development phase of new projects.

Earlier in their career, they worked at Huawei as the Vice Managing Director, Egypt office from 2004 to 2006 and as a Business Development Manager from 2002 to 2004. At Huawei, they handled high-level customer relationships, developed business plans, and set marketing strategies.

Elgamal started their career as a Product Engineer at Ericsson from 2000 to 2002.

Abdelrahman Elgamal pursued their education at Cairo University, where they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from 1995 to 2000. Later on, they attended The American University in Cairo from 2006 to 2008, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance and Marketing.
