Leon van der Harst

Leon van der Harst has extensive experience in process development within the dairy industry, currently serving as a Technician in Process Development at FrieslandCampina since November 2016. In this role, Leon focuses on enhancing technology through the development, execution, and reporting of R&D projects, collaborating closely with product developers and project managers. Prior experiences include conducting R&D trials in a dairy pilot plant, validating production machinery during an internship at Friesland Campina Domo Dronrijp, and researching non-thermal preservation methods for fruit juices at Universidad de Murcia. Leon also completed a junior internship in quality control at Friesland Campina and worked part-time in a supermarket warehouse. Educationally, Leon holds a degree from Hogeschool Van Hall Larenstein Leeuwarden and completed secondary education at Het Drachtster Lyceum.
