Francesca's early career includes working as an Assistant Curator at the Crawford Art Gallery, Fine Art Museum in Cork, Ireland from April 2006 to April 2007.

Francesca Girelli began their education in 2001 at Ca' Foscari University in Venice, Italy, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Art History with a focus on Old Masters Paintings. Francesca continued their studies at the same university and obtained a Master's degree in Art History, specializing in Contemporary Art and Photography, which they completed in 2007. In that same year, Francesca pursued further education at the International University of Catalonia in Barcelona, Spain, where they completed a Master's degree in Cultural Management, specifically in Visual Arts Management and the Art Market, in 2008.
