Creative Producer at Frieze

Rachel Cunningham Clark has a diverse and extensive work experience in the art and creative production industry. Rachel is currently working as a Creative Producer at Frieze since 2022.

Prior to this, Rachel worked at Forma from 2017 to 2021 as a Creative Producer, where they were responsible for production, curation, and coordination of cross-disciplinary exhibitions, live events, and special projects. Rachel also handled partnership building, fundraising, communications, and strategy.

From 2019 to 2019, they worked as a Curator/Producer at FOLD, where they curated and produced the launch of the cross-disciplinary platform Lab F. Rachel collaborated with Lab F founder and managed various tasks including concept development, curation, partnership management, fundraising, production, and marketing.

Rachel also has experience working at Zabludowicz Collection, where they served as an Assistant Curator and a Curatorial Assistant. Their responsibilities included supporting the curatorial team, administration, planning, production, social media management, and online content production.

Additionally, they worked as a Curator at (it's all) Tropical, a UK-based collective from 2015 to 2017, and as a Curatorial Assistant at Anarch from 2012 to 2013. In these roles, they co-produced exhibitions and projects, handled email communications, social media promotion, assisted with coordination, invigilation of exhibitions and events, and performed general administrative duties.

Rachel's other work experiences include Project Coordinator roles at University of Leeds, The Bowery, and The Guildhall Art Gallery. Rachel curated an exhibition at The Guildhall Art Gallery and managed a small team of assistants.

Rachel also worked as a Curatorial Assistant at Stanley and Audrey Burton Gallery, where they actively participated in organizing a special exhibition of artwork by the Bloomsbury group.

Throughout their career, Rachel has demonstrated proficiency in creative production, curation, coordination, partnership building, fundraising, communications, and strategy. Rachel has worked with various organizations, managed demanding production schedules, and prioritized collaboration and building networks of opportunity and expertise.

Rachel Cunningham Clark has a diverse education history. In 2006, they attended the Cumbria Institute of the Arts and obtained a Certification of Higher Education in Graphic Design and Communication. Rachel then went on to the University of Leeds, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History of Art and Museums Studies from 2007 to 2010. Rachel continued their studies at the University of Leeds and completed a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Cultural Studies from 2010 to 2011. Finally, they furthered their education at the University of Leeds once again and earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Museum and Art Gallery Studies from 2011 to 2012.
