Tate Waddell

Tate Waddell is a seasoned professional in the art and cultural sector, currently serving as Senior VIP Relations Manager for The Armory Show and Expo Chicago at Frieze since August 2024. Previous roles include Senior Coordinator of Trustee Affairs at the Whitney Museum of American Art from November 2022 to August 2024, and Senior Manager of Membership and Individual Giving at the Brooklyn Academy of Music from September 2021 to November 2022. Tate has also held various positions in notable galleries and institutions, including Sperone Westwater as Gallery Assistant, Alexander and Bonin Gallery as Gallery Associate, and the New Museum of Contemporary Art in multiple capacities including Development Manager. Tate's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Art History from The Courtauld Institute of Art and a Bachelor's Degree in Art History and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
