Christian Mathiesen

Christian Mathiesen is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as CTO and Co-founder of Frigade (YC W23), Christian previously held the same title at Perform, a Techstars Sports '22 portfolio company. Notably, Christian worked at LinkedIn for over five years, ascending to Senior Software Engineering Manager, where leadership of a full-stack team facilitated the development of significant products for the Jobs & Recruiter division. Christian's coding journey began at the age of 12, leading to various roles, including software engineering positions at Canal Digital and a self-employed coder. Academically, Christian holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master's in Computer Science from Brown University, and a B.Sc. in Software Technology from DTU. Additionally, Christian participated in Y Combinator in early 2023.
