Joey Small

Director, Institutional Advancement at FRISCH SCHOOL

Joey has over a decade of experience in Jewish education and philanthropy. He most recently served as Yeshiva University’s Western Region Director, where he worked on the University’s major gifts campaign, donor stewardship, and community programming for the region. Prior to this role, he served as the Director of Institutional Advancement at YULA High School in Los Angeles. As an educator, Joey has taught Jewish Studies courses at City College of New York, NYU Hillel, Beth Jacob Congregation, YULA, and the Manhattan Jewish Experience. He currently leads Frisch’s Explanatory Minyan.

Joey received his B.A. in Biology, M.A. in Modern Jewish History, and M.S. in Secondary Education from Yeshiva University and his MBA from USC’s Marshall School of Business.
