Mrs. Randi Wartelsky is the Director of Choral Studies at Frisch and teaches the 9th and 10th grade music elective course. Randi also directs the Cougar Chorus and Girls Glee musical groups. Additionally, Randi is the co-founder and editorial faculty advisor for Frisch’s online news magazine show, “Frisch News.”
Randi holds a B.A. in English Communications from Yeshiva University and was recognized with honor by the mid-Atlantic chapter of the National Television Academy Emmy Awards for her work on a documentary with award-winning news reporter Sara Lee Kessler.
Randi holds a Professional Certificate in Vocal Technique and Musicianship from Berklee College of Music, as well as an Advanced Professional Certificate in Music Theory, Harmony, and Ear Training.
Randi has taught general music and singing to children and adults of all ages, ranging from Mommy and Me classes to adult choirs. She is a member of the New Jersey Choral Directors Association and is proud to have spearheaded an inter-school music project that brought singers from different choirs together in a show of support during the Covid-19 pandemic.
