Carolyn Hannan

Head Designer at Frist Art Museum

Carolyn Hannan has a diverse work experience in the field of exhibition and industrial design. Starting in 2009, they interned at East Falls Glasswork for two years. In 2010, they worked as a Shop Monitor at Philadelphia University. In 2011, they were an Industrial Design Intern at LaFrance Corp. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as an Exhibition Designer and Preparator at The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art. In 2016, they joined the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology as an Exhibition Designer and later that year transitioned to the Frist Art Museum as an Exhibition Designer. In September 2021, they were promoted to Head Designer at Frist Art Museum.

Carolyn Hannan completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Design from Philadelphia University between 2007 and 2012.
