Michael Butt

Michael Butt has extensive experience in health, safety, and training roles, currently serving as the Health, Safety and Training Superintendent at Yancoal Australia Ltd since June 2015. Previous roles at Yancoal include Acting Health, Safety & Training Manager and Health, Safety and Training Coordinator. Additionally, Michael has been an On-call Firefighter with Fire and Rescue NSW since August 2015. Early career positions include Training Advisor at CE Training, Production Operator roles at CE Mining and ResCo Services Pty Ltd, and various positions at Peabody Energy and Thiess, including Step up Supervisor and Training Coordinator.
