Dolores Lorenzo has over 15 years of experience in legal and regulatory fields, currently serving as Abogada sénior at FROB since March 2013. Prior to this role, Dolores worked at Baker & McKenzie from January 2011 to March 2013, specializing in financial regulation and advising various regulated entities on compliance with specific regulations. Experience also includes serving as Letrado Asesor at Banco de España from February 2008 to January 2011, providing legal guidance on monetary policy and supervisory matters. Earlier, Dolores held positions as Técnico Auditor at Sermepa and as a pasante at Legalitas. Dolores holds a Licenciatura in Derecho from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and has completed an expert certification in Compliance from ASCOM in 2019, along with an ongoing course in Public Procurement and Administrative Law at the Escuela de Práctica Jurídica de la UCM.

FROB
FROB is the current National Executive Resolution Authority which, as such, forms part of the European Single Resolution Mechanism (known as the SRM), created within the Banking Union process. Its essential mission is to manage the execution of the resolution processes of credit institutions and/or investment firms undertaken in Spain. In addition, FROB also has other functions resulting from processes already undertaken in previous stages.
