Jon Porter is an experienced professional currently serving as a Senior Associate (Program Development) and Program Manager at the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) since January 2016. Jon leads the design and management of an ambitious food systems transformation program aimed at improving nutrition in ten countries across Africa and Asia, with significant funding from major international development agencies. Previously, Jon worked as a Program Officer managing the Vegetables for All project in Tanzania and supporting the Amsterdam Initiative against Malnutrition. Prior experiences include coordinating a project at Finance Against Trafficking, managing accounts at Proact IT UK, and providing IT support at CSC. Jon holds an Advanced Master in International Development from Radboud University and multiple certifications in project management.
