Umesh Jagtap

Umesh Jagtap is an experienced professional in the field of welding and robotics, currently serving as a Prototype Engineer in the Technical Competence Center at Fronius International since June 2023, focusing on welding feasibility and robotic welding program development. Previously, Umesh held roles in global technical support for Perfect Welding and worked as a National Application Engineer at Fronius India, where responsibilities included providing sustainable welding solutions and acting as a liaison between various stakeholders. Umesh's experience also includes serving as a Technical Trainer at Volkswagen India, delivering training in welding techniques, and as a Welding Demonstrator at L&T Pune. Umesh began in the industry as a Welding Operator at Tata Motors and completed an apprenticeship at Force Motors Ltd. Umesh's educational background includes a Diploma in International Welding Specialist from the International Institute of Welding and various certifications in welding training and inspection.
