Dan Stone

Chief Operating & Development Officer at Front Burner Brands, Inc.

Dan Stone, CFE has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the food and hospitality industry. Dan started their career as an Assistant General Manager at Winegardner & Hammons and later became the Director of Human Resources. In 2006, they joined Front Burner Brands as the Director of Franchise Sales for The Melting Pot and successfully awarded multiple franchises. Dan then served as the Director of Franchise Development, where they launched the first international franchise program for The Melting Pot and sold franchises in multiple countries. Dan later became the Vice President of Franchise Development for Burger 21, where they developed and launched the franchise program and oversaw the growth of the brand. Dan eventually returned to Front Burner Brands as the Chief Business & People Development Officer and later assumed the role of Chief Operating & Development Officer, responsible for the growth and development of the brand.

Dan Stone, CFE, completed their education history with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management from Penn State University. Dan attended Penn State University from 1995 to 1999. Prior to that, they attended Methacton High School from 1991 to 1995, where they completed their high school education. In addition to their academic qualifications, Dan Stone also obtained additional certifications. Dan received the VUCA Leadership certification from Cornell University in April 2019 and became a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) from ICFE in February 2010.
