Peter Unsworth

Peter Unsworth has held a variety of roles in the digital media industry since 2003. Peter began their career as a Production Manager at Red Sky Film & Television in 2003. Peter then moved to Maverick Media in 2004, where they worked as a Coordinator/Runner. In 2004, they were promoted to Post-Production Producer at Evolutions Television, where they managed post-production processes for multiple television series, including BBC Television's "Top Gear" Series 6, 7, 8 and 9. In 2007, they became an Interactive Producer at Safety'nAction, where they established the company's digital media department and developed interactive training programs. In 2010, they took on the role of Digital Media Developer at Auckland University of Technology, where they developed digital applications for departments and staff PhD projects. In 2011, they joined Manifest Digital as a Senior Front-End Developer, where they co-developed the Barbie Dreamhouse and continually researched, adopted and embraced new and emerging technologies and design models. In 2012, they moved to DDB Chicago as a Senior Developer, where they lead development across large scale accounts and initiated and lead internal developer meetings. Finally, in 2013, they founded Front Edge Digital, a consultancy that brings ideas to life with business in mind.

Peter Unsworth has a Diploma in Digital Media from Media Design School and a Bachelor in Broadcasting Communications / Television Production from New Zealand Broadcasting School.
