David Hamilton

David W. Hamilton is an experienced insurance professional with a strong focus on the entertainment sector. Since August 2009, David has served as the President and CEO of Front Row Insurance Brokers Inc., an insurance brokerage dedicated to film production, music, new media, art, and theatre. Prior to this, David was the President and Owner of Focus Entertainment Insurance Brokers Inc. from January 2007 to August 2009, which became the largest BC-owned insurance brokerage specializing in film production insurance. David's career also includes significant roles such as Managing Partner at Jones Brown Inc. from 1999 to 2006 and Account Executive positions at Sedgwick Limited in Vancouver and at Lloyds of London, UK. David began the insurance journey as a Trainee Underwriter at Laurentian Pacific Insurance Company. David holds a BA in English and Politics from Queen's University and has an educational background from Prince of Wales and Emily Carr.
