Andrei Shinkevich, CFA

Andrei Shinkevich, CFA has over 20 years of professional experience in the financial services industry. Andrei began their career in 1999 as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 2000, they worked as an Actuarial Analyst at CNA Insurance in Chicago, IL and as a Project Manager for the research project “Dollarization in Russia” at the Economics Education and Research Consortium (EERC-Russa). In 2001, they were a Consultant at Navigant Consulting in Washington, DC. From 2002 to 2008, they worked at Ameriabank (affiliate of Troika Dialog Group) as Director of Investment Banking and a Management Board Member. During this time, they negotiated, structured, and implemented corporate finance and M&A deals, and designed Ameriabank’s corporate bond underwriting process. In 2012, they became a Director and Owner at Cambalt Advisors Ltd. In 2015, they joined Frontclear as Senior Vice President of Structuring and Sales for CEEMENA and Asia. In this role, they were responsible for guaranteeing counterparty credit risk of financial institutions active in repo, derivative, securities lending, and trade finance instruments.

Andrei Shinkevich, CFA received their BS and MS in Applied Mathematics from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT) between 1994 and 1999. Andrei then went on to earn their MS in Economics and Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 1999 and 2001. In 2006, they obtained their Chartered Financial Analyst designation from CFA Institute. Andrei also passed Exams 1 and 2 from the Society of Actuaries, USA between 2001 and 2002.
