Mike Haydon

Mike Haydon has extensive experience in the technology field. Mike started their career as a Software Developer at Telkonet Inc. from March 2016 to May 2017. At Telkonet, they gained experience in software development.

After that, Mike joined Frontdesk in May 2017 as a Software Developer. During their time at Frontdesk, they were responsible for building and implementing time optimization automation integrations. Mike also utilized Python to build a Slack integration to feed reservation activity from platforms like Airbnb, Expedia, Booking.com, and VRBO to employees.

Mike then progressed to the role of Lead Engineer at Frontdesk from October 2017 to March 2019. In this role, they refactored a manual price calculation spreadsheet into an in-house software solution called Nimbus. Mike also integrated Nimbus with APIs such as Airdna to build a user-friendly underwriting estimator. Furthermore, they improved time optimization automations by creating unit-level daily statistic reports within Nimbus.

From March 2019 to November 2020, Mike held the position of Director of Technology at Frontdesk. In this role, they led the migration of users, software, and systems from an existing channel manager. Mike also led and contributed to the Flex project, which successfully automated operations tasks related to managing units, reservations, and automated guest messages.

Currently, Mike serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Frontdesk. In this role, their main duties include leading the Engineering, Support, and Distributions team. Mike is responsible for defining the technology stack, roadmap, and prioritization of the company's technology needs. Mike is also an active codebase contributor to the company's Levr project.

Mike Haydon attended Waukesha County Technical College from 2014 to 2017, where they earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Web and Software Development.
