Amit Anand

Amit Anand has held various roles throughout their work experience. Amit began their career as a Software Engineer at HSBC Software India Pvt. Ltd. in 2003. Amit then joined Cybage, where they worked in multiple roles including Technical Architect and played a key role in establishing expertise in Big Data and Cloud Computing Technologies. In 2012, Amit joined IBM India Software Labs as a Technology Lead, focusing on cognitive computing platforms and AI applications. Amit worked on projects related to Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, and Information Retrieval. In 2014, Amit moved to Pitney Bowes, where they were promoted to Manager Product Development and later to Principal Engineer. Amit played a crucial role in modernizing data production processes, creating new data products, and leading various teams. In 2019, Amit joined Precisely | Trust in Data as a Distinguished Engineer and later became the Director of Software Development, leading an innovation team in the Data business. Amit developed a new Data Decision SaaS Platform called Spatial Knowledge Fabric and implemented various technologies such as AWS, Microservices, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Neo4J, and Deep Learning. Most recently, in 2021, Amit joined Frontdoor, Inc. as the Director of Data Engineering. Amit Anand completed their education in Software Engineering with a Postgraduate Diploma from Mahindra Institute of Software Engineering and Management in 2002.
