Matt Studdert

Matt Studdert has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. In 2009, they started their career as a Fitness Instructor at KX Gym before realizing their passion for entrepreneurship and opening their own business, Matt Studdert Fitness, in 2009. Matt successfully managed their fitness business for four years before transitioning into the field of web development. In 2014, Matt attended a three-month full-time web development course at General Assembly, where they learned various languages, libraries, databases, and frameworks. Following their training, they worked as a Rails Developer at Bar Pass Limited, where they built a white-label product for clients. Matt then joined Mighty Sharp, where they predominantly worked as a Frontend/JavaScript Developer, specializing in Angular, Vue, and React JS. In 2015, Matt became an Instructor at General Assembly, sharing their knowledge and expertise with others. Finally, in 2018, Matt founded their own company, Frontend Mentor.

Matt Studdert attended Loughborough University from 2004 to 2007 where they obtained a BSc degree in Sport & Exercise Science.
